DOES IT MATTER HOW MUCH I WEIGH?
It’s not so much your weight that matters as much as it is your body composition.
If you were to lose 10 lbs of fat but gain 6 lbs of muscle, the scale would only go down 4 lbs but your body composition would have change greatly.

I AM A WOMAN AND AM WORRIED ABOUT BULKING UP WHEN I WORK OUT.  WILL I?
Typically women can’t bulk up like a man can.   However, some women may have the feeling of some initial ‘bulkiness’ when beginning the weight loss process.
This is because your body is more willing and ready to gain muscle than it is willing to release fat.  Sometimes for a short time you may feel heavier or bulkier because you have not begun losing the fat yet but you are gaining muscle.  DO NOT WORRY!   The great news is this new muscle will help us to burn that fat off!

HOW LONG AFTER EATING SHOULD I WAIT BEFORE EXERCISING?
The truth is you SHOULD eat before you exercise.  A small healthy snack (like an apple) will help fuel your work out and give you sustainable energy and actually HELP you burn fat without burning off muscle.

I HAVE AN INJURY.  IS IT TRUE THAT I SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM EXERCISE AS TO NOT MAKE IT WORSE?
That depends.  If you have a hang nail we think you will be ok.  However, if you have a more serious, acute or chronic injury we advise that you seek the advice of your health care professional before beginning any work out routine.
