FAQ for Parents and kids classes

Are the classes safe?
Our classes are very safe. The students are highly regulated while they are working out. Each class has an age requirement which helps separate the older children from the younger ones. This also allows the children to successfully learn and perform their moves so they will feel good about themselves.

Will my child have fun?
Motivation, excitement and fun are the essential tools we use to increase the learning and performance of our students. Martial Arts are good, clean fun for kids. We offer various school events that teach children how to get along better with others. Our classes also foster a spirit of teamwork and a sense of belonging. Our students regularly enjoy birthday parties together at the dojo, pizza parties, cook outs and other fun activities.

Will my child learn to be abusive?
All of our students are taught a peaceful and non-confrontational philosophy. We teach common sense before self-defense. We are very committed to having well-behaved, respectful and courteous students in order to maintain the integrity of our art and school.

How much does it cost?
Currently our school offers a great starter program, and a variety of options to meet the financial needs of our students. Please inquire at the school to see our list of rates and available programs.

What are some of the benefits of the Martial Arts?
Our focus is to teach children life skills. Because a structure of respect, courtesy and honesty is built into Martial Arts, children develop the ability to listen, learn and achieve. I have rank in another school/style. Can my current rank transfer to your school when I join?
We only accept rank from other American Jiu Jitsu Federation schools. However, we understand, appreciate and acknowledge the expertise you have from your previous style. This usually also means you have a deeper appreciation for the art. Some of our best students are those who held rank in a previous school or style and have taken off their belts to begin the next step in their martial arts journey.
